STEP 3: In the comment box below, share your biggest question (or concern) with training and selling horses for profit...

Post your question:

  1. Can you discuss Working with/for the public ? Does geographical areas make sales a better option?

  2. What are some strategies you can use to protect yourself in the event the market crashes?

  3. Vet checks and soundness. How much should you spend on x rays and PPE exam when buying a project under 15 thousand?

  4. How do you know what horse to choose and to market that horse when your in low income area?

  5. Honestly I'd like to learn how to market my horses better with faster sells.

  6. Being located in Quebec Canada, my question is do you have to be in the hotbed of horses like Texas or Arizona to have a successful, highly profitable horse business? Meaning, not the kind of business that only pays the bills at the end of the month and you can barely create any value for yourself.

  7. Marketing

  8. How to know what your horse is worth based on his pedigree.

  9. How do I know which horse to buy and for how much is too much?

  10. I find that so few riders are good enough to ride the horses even when they are going nicely. It is hard to make a project horse for an over weight, 60 year old woman that is a timid rider, rides one a week & wants to show a dressage horse plus trail ride with friends. It seems to be this person that responds.

  11. Low economic area

  12. How do I know what will be the eight project horse

  13. How do I pick the right project horse, then how do I find the right market for my project horse.

  14. What breed and discipline do you believe brings in higher paying clients and desirable clients.

  15. I always find it hard to advertise on socials with the restrictions. When I do have a nice horse for sale and get tons of messages for price since it can’t be posted they never reply or respond once I tell them my price. What can I do to keep the conversation going so they know they are getting a nice horse.

  16. What do you find is the sweet spot of time put into the project horse? What is the ideal time frame to create maximum profit versus keeping them too long and your just feeding them.

  17. What are the top 5 things you look for in a project horse prospect?

  18. For a quick resale, do you avoid something that requires any maintenance such as injections? Or something that doesn’t have great feet and needs shod in a specific and therefore more expensive way?
