STEP 3: In the comment box below, share your biggest question about selling horses privately...

  1. How do you eliminate the looky loo, tire kickers who can't afford to buy or care for a horse. They just come out to pet a horse and try to talk your price down.

  2. How to eliminate the looky loo, tire kickers who don't have the money to buy or care for a horse?

  3. Excited to learn! Thanks for offering

  4. Is there a specific age of horse or stage in training or time of year that tends to be the best time to sell a horse?

  5. Where to price them

  6. Curious on pedigree, age and market outlook for high sellers

  7. I want the confidence in selling horses. I always seem to undersell my horses and not keep up with the market

  8. What do you feel are the most important things to highlight in sale videos? How do you handle the high maintenance buyers and the looky-loos?

  9. How do you decide on pricing, and how can you enhance the price with minimal cost, to attract quality buyers?

  10. How to sell my show worthy prospects when your name is not widely known in the reining world.

  11. I have a 6 year old mare, with great cow bred papers. She has the wow factor until the video starts rolling. Either that or I cannot seem to find a videographer with “the eye” to highlight her in my area. I have hired 4 different people, all which sent reference videos that I liked. Now I’m out over $1000 in videos that I don’t want to use. How do you find your reputable videoagrapher/photographer and what do you want in a video? How much time/video? And how much do you budget?

  12. Putting proper price on horse.

  13. Our frustration is that people want them started but so few people have the ability to ride them. It is hard to put an overweight timid older adult amateur or a kid that is graduating from ponies on a 3/4 year old dressage horse. That is not good for anyone. They want & need an older, sound, safe for anyone horse that does all the tricks & that horse they usually can’t afford. How does one get these young prospects into the right hands & make some money?

  14. Do I have my trainer sell a horse for me or do I market it myself?

  15. Thank you for offering this!!!

  16. Hello, I was wondering when the best time is to post your 2 year old for sale privately or at auction in order to get the best results? And what are some key things to do up until then?

  17. Have a well bred 2 year old that would like to market and sell. Problem: no network due to being new to Arizona...

  18. The best places to network and sell as well as how to avoid scammers that are out there?
