NEXT PROJECT HORSE CHALLENGE:
DAY 7 - Find a Potential Project!

About this video

In this final stretch action lesson, you'll learn how to put the principles we've discussed into practice by identifying your ideal project horse.

This lesson emphasizes the importance of taking immediate action—even if you're not ready to purchase—by searching for a horse that fits your criteria. You'll learn to apply a structured process to evaluate opportunities, ensuring your decisions align with your goals and budget while reducing risks.

This exercise develops the ability to recognize viable opportunities and prepares you for confident, profitable actions when the timing is right.

NExt Steps

Before you reach day 10, your 'STRETCH ACTION' is to find one potential project horse that meets the criteria you set yesterday.

1 - Search for a Horse: Spend the next three days actively searching for a project horse that matches your established criteria.

Look online, visit sales, or check with local trainers or horse dealers.

2 - Assess and Document: For each horse you find, evaluate whether it fits your criteria.

Take note of:
*Age, conformation, and overall appeal.
*Price compared to your budget.
*Potential value-add activities you can confidently perform.

3 - Practice Decision-Making:

Even if you're not ready to buy, practice deciding whether the horse meets all your criteria.
If you're unsure about a potential deal, email your findings for feedback - steve@steverossacademy.com

4 - Stretch Action: Commit to the process—even if it feels uncomfortable—by taking this step now. Doing so builds confidence and familiarity for when you're ready to take the plunge.

For now, write out your commitment to this action in the form below - to mark day 7 as complete.

Use this framework:

"I commit to finding a potential project horse within the next 3 days. I'll do this by [insert what your specific plan is for finding your project horse]."

NOTE: To complete the full challenge, you have to complete the next 3 days of lessons (that help you make this process easier) AND you must have ONE potential horse identified that COULD be a project horse.
